Summary: Great Information - Strange writing style
Comment: How to Give Her Absolute Pleasure has been, well, a pleasure to read!
It is full of useful information, coupled with little gems and informative diagrams to back-up the "theory" side of pleasure.
Unfortunately, the writing style is quite strange. It mostly refers to "In my seminars..." "... a woman from Chicago said". Which not only is quite annoying (giving "factual" information while keeping the source anonymous) but also very inefficient. Being a University student, I am trained to see references of information like this as dubious at best.
The amount of information presented for the points made are greatly inconsistent. For example, a particular way a sex toy works has large amounts of detail, with backup "proof" (more "... a woman said") covering many pages, while a unique position which is spoken about as though it is much more important, is given only a single dot point on a page.
Finally, for anyone outside the US, many pages in the book are wasted on listing places to buy sex toys, etc, in US shops.
Besides the literary failings, the core content is VERY good, especially for people who are looking for a guide to making love as opposed to just having sex.

Apparently the author has no professional training in the area, and has simply re-packaged what she's been told by professionals she's interviewed, or has read elsewhere.

Comment: This book is great for guys that truely want to learn how to give their soul mates "absolute pleasure"!
My husband is a conservative Christian man! (So, I'm writing this for him) We both kept our virtue until our wedding night... NOW WHAT DO WE DO? We knew the mechanics our mom/dad and sex ed. teachers taught us... but we quickly learned there must be more to it than that! Needless to say, my husband was embarrassed he wasn't a natual guru in this area. Since, neither of us felt comfortable sharing our confusion with family or friends, we went to the section of the book store we always avoided. We went hesitantly and with one eye closed. We wanted to find something informative, without being too ronchy. I wanted a book that I wouldn't mind leaving my husband alone with either, lol.
I love how Lou writes: informative and straight to the point. I love the experiences she shares (her own and those of her seminar students).
This book is great for guys that truely want to learn how to give their soul mates "absolute pleasure"!
