This book is the complete guide to meeting women, approaching them, getting their contact information, asking them out, planning a first date, having great sex, and building a stronger relationship. The authors, 2 average guys who were pathetic with women utnil they set out on a mission to better understand women, share everything they learned on their journey. They became friends with numerous girls and now understand everything - from how women want to be appraoched to what they are looking for on a first date, from what makes them sleep with a man to what makes them stay in a relationship. Fate and Reil, co-founders of the successful personal advice website, Make Every Girl Want You, have taught thousands of men how to meet more women, have more sex, and build stronger relationships.

Customer Rating: Summary: Read for Success, Not for Pick Up Comment: If you read this book with a open mind it WILL help you succeed with women, and in any other relationship. I think this book was influenced by Dale Carnige's classic "Win Friends and Influence People." If you have read books on leadership and management, you will definately see some similarities.
I was surprised that this book got so many negative responses. I think thats because of the cover photo. Many people probably bought this book thinking that it was a guide to getting quick and easy sex from women. It is not. It is a book that helps men build healthy relationships with women, which NATURALLY leads to an active sex life. By taking a sincere interest in people and having a confident, positive attitude about life, you will always get further with people than by acting cool or bragging, in the long run.
I would recommend this book to men 21 and older. I think this book is geared towards a slightly more mature audience than most other books about success with women. If you're intrested in one-night stands and picking up women in clubs, then this book is probably not for you. I would suggest that you buy one of Neil Strauss' books or Mysteries "Mystery Method." The material in these books do work. They help you "pick up" women effectively, but these books offer little advice on how to MAINTAIN and build successful relationships with women. Neil Strauss pointed this out in "The Game." In reality, you can't constantly rely on canned material in every interaction with a women.
Hope I helped, and good luck!!!
Customer Rating: Summary: So-So Comment: If you've read any of their other books, it's the same stuff over and over again. They should have just written the one book and left it at that.
Customer Rating: Summary: THE GIRLY-MAN'S GUIDE TO PICKING UP CHICKS... Comment: ... is a total wimpfest promoting a so-called "COMPLIMENTS - COMPASSION - REASSURANCE" system that will most assuredly place you squarely in the testosterone-free "friend zone"... at one point in the book, these two asexuals gushed about how much fun it was to hear the banter between their female friends as they're getting glammed up in preparation for a night out cruising OTHER GUYS in the clubs!
I don't know about you, but I want to be the guy that a woman thinks about when she's feeling freaky-deaky and wants to party naked, not the guy she wants to yap with about the latest "Young and the Restless" plot twist or discuss this month's issue of Cosmo... there is nothing remotely manly in their approach to meeting women whatsoever and, as a previous reviewer suggested, should be renamed to something along the lines of "how to be the flaming fruitcake that every woman loves but won't ever sleep with" or "make every girl want you (as a friend only)".
It boggles the mind as to how this was ever published - complete and utter garbage.
Customer Rating: Summary: Not Worth the Money. Comment: I found Make Every Girl Want You to be a real disappointment. In fact, it's one of weakest dating books out there. The authors advocate using their "CCR Method" for capturing girl's hearts, and the acronym stands for compliments, compassion, and reassurance. Well, I guess there's nothing wrong with making use of such devices as long one does not do so to the point of being a pusillanimous kitten. One must be devoted to pull it off because it is absolutely essential to avoid talking about anything interesting or important with the women you desire. Ask all sorts of innocuous questions while complimenting the heck out of them, and these guys will say you have game. Of course, sometimes questions are beneficial, but you're going to have to blather about their thoughts, needs, and desires ad infinitum-so get ready for some heavy suffering.
If that were all they said here, I would give it a higher rating. The real problem is the authors' irresponsible analytical errors. They assume that women do not like bad boys or jerks. From experience, we know this to be absolute hogwash. Insecurity causes some, but not all, girls to be attracted to those who are indifferent to them. Fate and Reil should implicitly understand this as these same insecurities cause women to be attracted to men paying a CCR level of attention to them.
They also disgracefully buy into all sorts of feminist non-sense such as the myth of beauty put out by our society. They appear to know nothing about the biological basis for sexual desire as they think women lust "a connection" in a relationship more than anything else. One would agree, provided that they spent their life watching "The View." Status, money, and physical attractiveness are far more important to women than "a connection," although I do not deny establishing one will help your cause greatly. Better advice is to learn how to play the guitar and acquire more cash, so you don't end up like these guys spending the rest of your life talking about shoes, necklaces, and tops.
Customer Rating: Summary: What, I say what were they thinking Comment: I ordered this book with high hopes that the elusive girl over the cube wall would be mine 4ever. When I got home and open the box and finally got my hands on my prized purchase, I couldn't wait for the mysteries to be unlocked. With a one star rating you may already know where the review is going. I tried to follow in Oscar's footsteps but apparently my feet were too small and I got off on the wrong foot. I used the three different angles they laid out and to say it didn't work would be an understatement of epic proportions. Not only did it not work with the hottie over the cube wall but failed with the un-hottie in the mailroom. I can only say that I was devastated by the claim that it would work even for a pathetic guy like me. In closing, I would say that if you're trying to get the girl of your dreams or for that matter a date with a girl in the mail room this is not the book for you.
